McLeod Lake Day Use Area is located on McLeod Lake Road off Star Lake Road approximately 8 miles northwest of Eagle River. This recreation site is located on the east shore of 52 acre McLeod Lake, which is completely surrounded by Vilas County Forest lands. This quiet site offers bird watching & other wildlife viewing opportunities.
This area offers a picnic table and fire ring with cooking grill. Depending on weather conditions, the uneven ground can be somewhat soft, and the lakeshore is steeply banked.
McLeod Lake is accessible via unimproved landing site.
